After Hours Emergency Service?

You may call our Mindarie, Ellenbrook, Warwick, North Perth, Wembley or Maddington after-hours emergency dental service for information on dealing with dental emergencies.

Your dentist will be able to see you and treat your emergency situation. Perth locals have trusted our emergency service for many years.

Some dental problems are serious enough to warrant a hospital visit. If a tooth has been knocked out, it’s important you get to a dentist as soon as possible. The sooner you can receive treatment, the better the chance your dentist will be able to successfully re-implant the tooth. If possible, try to gently place the tooth back in its socket, otherwise, keep it in a glass of milk until you get medical assistance.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE YOU SEE AN EMERGENCY DENTIST?

STEP 1:
Call and book yourself in for an urgent appointment.
STEP 2:
If you are waiting to see the dentist and you are suffering from tooth pain or toothache, take some anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen to help ease the pain or paracetamol. Take two paracetamol pills and wait two to three hours before repeating the dose again. If you have injured yourself in a sporting incident or around the house, be sure to consult a doctor to assess the severity of the injuries.

Is it a dental emergency if i chipped my tooth?

This depends on the severity of the case (see above for fractured teeth). In any instance, here is some basic advice on what to do when this happens. If you can find the chipped piece lying on the floor, pick it up and bring it with you to the dentist. They could still use it – but there are resins that dentists use if they can’t reattach it so don’t stress if you cannot find it or you swallowed it.
